Chocolate Cookies

The truth is, I don't know a whole lot of cookie recipes. In fact, I don't know any... really. I've never been a  cookie type person for one, and not liking sweets all that much (with the exception of dark chocolate off course), I never had the inclination to make cookies per-se -and frankly, I don't care to ingest all that wheat flour and sugar to start with either.

Nonetheless, the Sweet Tooth doth come up now and then and must be acknowledge.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is when I had this most brilliant idea: take the Lucious Chocolate Cake recipe and make cookies with that!... Wow!... (ok, yes, I know it's probably been done before -give me a break, I'm new at this).

Does really well with something on top; in this case, marmalade:

And even better in conjunction with a nice, hot drink, be it coffee, tea, cocoa, or chicory.
Some might say the particular practice of "Dunnking" is an acquired art, others come by it naturally.

Here's how it goes:
1. Dunk the cookie into said hot drink.
2. Take a bit, chew appreciately.
3. Repeat until the entire cookie has been consumed.
4. Reach for another cookie as desired.
5. See #1.

He, he.
Oh, excuse me, I hear a cookie calling my name.
